Our Big Mama, Mrs. Dieu, opened her first restaurant as a young lady in 1988 Vietnam, serving soldiers during the war. Three years after immigrating to the US, she started her first restaurant in Houston, TX in 1991. The family moved to Georgia in 2004 and opened Pho Vy in 2007, followed by Uptown Vietnam Cuisine in 2013. Throughout the years and across our restaurants, our mom's wonderful marinade and sauce recipes remain the foundation for our success.

This place is fantastic!! We went during lunch, so they were very busy with take-out orders as well as dine-in orders, but it was well worth the wait! A large beer list to satisfy everyone, and the food was exceptional! I had a beef banh mi sandwich and I loved it, and my partner had the large Pho with beef, chicken, and shrimp which was wonderful. I’ve never had Vietnamese food before so I’m not sure this was traditional or not, but I will definitely go back to try something else. Delicious!
